I'm waiting until the season is over so I can binge it over a weekend. I keep seeing things pop up about it.

i actually really like it as they are focusing on the charakter development and their life stories. season finale next week.
btw: i am not a fan of this super hero universe, but this tv show is good the way they created it. they are taking the time that is needed to tell the story, without draging it out too much and without just throwing special effects on everything.

there's only one more to go so you might want to binge it and then watch the Last one oct 8th.

The white people are racist one was a turn off but it got better.

Kyle Chandler is awesome in it.
there really isn't much development in the main story. i wish they'd go back To the old days where the did 22 episodes a year.

Most DC shows are like that, I think. See: Daredevil, Daredevil: Born Again, and probably Heroes of Tomorrow but it's been a bit since I watched that one.

eh? Daredevil is Marvel. Also it's got an incredibly deep storyline, with tons of character development.

...The public is wonderfully tolerant. It forgives everything except genius.

Well, maybe i should give the other DCU shows a chance. Or i have subconsciously reacted to Damon Lindelof being a part of the producer team (as a lifetime LOST fan). =)

Marvel shows?

The problem is there have been so many Marvel & DC shows since the MCU took off in movie theaters near 20 years ago.

Up until Marvel struck a deal with Netflix, and Daredevil aired, there were things you could count on:

1. DC had the best TV series (The Arrowverse - basically anything they had on The WB starting with Smallville), and the worst films.
2. Marvel had the best films but really struggled with TV Series. (Agents of Sheild was great for the first couple seasons, then it really just went off the rails)

Even the Marvel-on-Netflix stuff was a bit of a struggle for general audiences. At the time there was a definite rift between the TV production arm, and the MCU arm, which meant there was basically no crossover or even references between the two, even though they supposedly took place in the same universe.

...Don`t force it, get a larger hammer.

You're absolutely right. That's probably what made me think DD was a DC show: it was actually good.
